Multimedia Communications
This is a technology-based program that develops knowledge and skills in the field of communication. Students will learn basic techniques of video production, graphic communications, interviewing techniques, and editing. Important and community-based productions will be created that may be shown on local community access television channels available through Lakes Region Public Access Television. Current and up-to-date equipment used to create electronic media will be used. Production, editing, and scriptwriting for local community and school events will be taught. The program is articulated with the New England School of Communications in Maine and other post-secondary institutions so that students may receive advanced credit as a major in communications.
