Health Science and Technology
Do you like helping people?  Are you interested in joining the second largest industry in the country?  Health Science & Technology will provide you the wide range of health careers.  You will learn information and skills basic to many health careers.  You will practice the skills in class and at local health care facilities.  Your field site experiences will be planned to meet your interest.   You can complete the requirements and be eligible to take the State Nursing Assistant Certification exam to be a licensed LNA.  Many college programs require 40 hours of observation as an admission requirement, which you may fulfill through this program.  You also have the opportunity to earn 3 college credits in Medical Terminology from the New Hampshire Community Technical College-Laconia as part of the Project Running Start Program.
