Upon
entering the two-year Culinary Arts program, you will begin to develop the
skills which are the key to employment in the food service industry. You will begin with basic skills;
however, the curriculum is designed to allow you the opportunity to learn all
the facets of the industry, thus enabling you to progress as far as your
capability and interest allows. You
will be part of a team which caters school functions, special parties and
operates an in-school restaurant.
You will learn baking, cost analysis, line skills and much more. You will
be required to bring two sets of chef uniforms, interest and
enthusiasm. The program is articulated with the New Hampshire
Community College system with opportunities to earn5 college credits through Project Running
Start and the Laconia campus.
