Elementary Band

Welcome Back!!

I am looking forward to an exciting year in elementary band.

Lessons for fifth graders will start September 7.

"My hope and dream this year is to take each 5th grade band to do a half hour performance at a nursing home in the area."   

In order to do that, we are going to have to learn 30 minutes of music!  We will be working on solos, duets, and small ensembles to achieve that goal.

Important dates coming up:

September 10, 6-8pm at Laconia Middle School.  We are having a "petting zoo" for the first time. Students will be able to try different instruments before making a final decision on what to play.  You can even rent one that night!!

September 17, 6:30-6:30pm at Woodland Heights School  - rental night.

 This is when you will pick up an instrument. Lessons  will start the following week.
