Technology is used by astronomers, geologists, oceanographers, and meteorologists. computers, robots , satellites , and space probes are just some tools used by earth scientists.

•     Technology helps scientists collect data. Today many scientists use the latest technology to explore space. Astronomers use radio telescopes like one in new Mexico to detect radio waves from a distant galaxy. oceanographers have donned scuba gear to observe the interactions of living things.

• Satellites                                     

An object launched to orbit Earth or another celestial body.

A satellite is used for many different things such as ,weather observations , communication and space observation. There are different types of satellites, one of the kinds of satellites are called Geosynchronous satellites witch means they revolve around the earth at the same rate that earth rotates. Another kind of satellite is a artificial satellite witch means any natural or artificial object that revolves around an object in space.

• Robots

Robots are a mechanical device that sometimes resembles a human and is capable of performing a variety of often complex human tasks on command or by being programmed in advance.

 Most robots use artificial intelligence witch is the ability of a computer or other machine to perform those activities that are normally thought to require intelligence.

Using software and mechanical controls the bomb squad robots help police and special forces locate bombs through out buildings, and also can sense drugs and radiation through airports and so forth.

• Computers                                 

 A device that computes, especially a programmable electronic machine that performs high-speed mathematical or logical operations or that assembles, stores, correlates, or otherwise processes information.

Computers are a main part of design technology and are used for information and research.

science today would be much different with out computers, people would not know about certain things as   they do now because of computers.
